With the ability to turn vapor into a liquid or solid state the Aquilon Cold Trap ensures that no vaor will enter the vaccum pump essentially elimiating the risk of contamination of vaccum pump oil or any corrosion. The Aquilon will also dramtically reduce processing times due to the cryogenic nature of the vaccum pump.  The trap also further prevents oil from the vaccum pump entering into the vaccum chamber preventing any hydrocarbon contamination.
